We were pleasantly surprised by this tour. Our tour guide met us at port, took us to the bus then we quickly got off at the shopping area. He thuroughly explained the different attractions and shopping along with common scams. We only had 15 minutes to ship then back on the bus though he did give us some extra time by letting another tour take our first bus so that was nice. We then made our way to the tequila tasting area Otoch Mayan Experience, not the best but we did get what was said. A little Mayan show with somewhat enthusiastic actors and a tequila tasting where you can buy some to take back to the ship. We then went to a beach club with a restaurant and a nice sitting area along with more shops. There were a few dogs around and a guy with a parrot and iguana. Our guide said that this was one of his last times going to that location though as they just finished a bigger nicer one. Our tour guide was great at explaining the economics and history of Cozumel during our drives. Especially the longer drive back. I loved that he gave us options to stay longer at our locations since our ship was leaving port last. Highly suggest overall I feel like we got a great taste of the island and got to see a lot of local areas from the bus. You could also leave your bags in the bus but we opted not to. Good for my mom that had a knee replacement.
