The tour operators did not account for (expected and not enormous) traffic getting into Rome, so half of the group missed their slot to enter the colosseum and instead had to queue in the sun to enter. This had a knock on effect on the free time after the tour. Additionally, the meeting point to return to the coach was Trevi square which is heaving with tourists and an incredibly unpleasant place to wait, with very few spots to sit or find shade. For the price, as compared to getting a train from the port, we would not recommend.
